Job Title: Network Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our growing team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s network infrastructure.

Your role ensures seamless connectivity, network security, and reliable communication systems across all departments to support efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation

• Plan, configure, and install network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Design efficient and secure network infrastructure to meet business needs.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Monitor network performance and ensure reliability and uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, outages, and bottlenecks.
• Perform regular system updates, security patches, and preventive maintenance.

Security and Compliance

• Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, VPNs, access controls).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with company IT policies.

Support and Collaboration

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT staff and external vendors to optimize network performance.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain documentation of network configurations, devices, and licenses.
• Prepare network performance and maintenance reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with firewall configuration, cybersecurity practices, and network monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
