Role Summary

The Mall Operations Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the assigned mall facility. The role ensures smooth and efficient execution of all operational functions, promotes customer satisfaction, drives sustainability initiatives, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Mall Operations Management

  • Supervise the execution of day-to-day operations across:
  • Mall Facilities
  • Allied Businesses (Entertainment, Parking, Terminals)
  • Housekeeping and Landscaping
  • Safety, Security, and Sustainability Initiatives
  • Conduct daily inspections of mall premises to ensure cleanliness, safety, functionality, and compliance with company standards and procedures.

2. Operational Analysis and Process Improvement

  • Analyze operational statistics and trends to identify performance gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the execution of cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.

3. Safety and Risk Management

  • Assist in identifying and escalating any health and safety risks that could impact mall employees, tenants, contractors, or patrons.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and preventive checks on facilities (e.g., AC levels, lighting, toilets, service areas, etc.) to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the security team to handle conflicts or incidents smoothly, maintaining order and avoiding disruption.

4. Staffing and Coverage Oversight

  • Monitor manpower requirements and ensure optimal staffing across all operational areas.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure all areas are properly manned during operating hours.

5. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure that all required business permits, licenses, and regulatory documents are obtained, updated, and filed in a timely manner to avoid penalties.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in mall or property operations management.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and delivering operational excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with government compliance and safety protocols is a plus.
