We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Accounting Services Team. This is a pivotal leadership role that will help build and develop a pioneering accounting team responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services, specializing in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, ledgering, and reporting.


What You’ll Do:


As one of the key leaders in this pioneering team, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting workflows, guide a small to mid- sized team, and play a vital role in establishing the foundation and driving the growth of our Accounting Services. The role also involves regular collaboration with international clients and counterparts, requiring strong communication skills and

confidence in global interactions.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead, coach, and manage a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts in accounting operations.

2. Oversee daily operations across AP, AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

3. Drive operational excellence by meeting client targets, SLAs, and accuracy standards.

4. Run process migration and transition projects, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and operational stability.

5. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and local regulations.

6. Monitor KPIs and team performance to service quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

7. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.

8. Partner with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to resolve escalations and optimize workflows.

9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

10. Serve as the escalation point for complex accounting and operational issues.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.

• 7+ years of experience in accounting operations, with at least 2+ years in a shared service or BPO structure.

• 2-3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity, managing direct reports.

• Proven experience in process migration, transition projects, or process improvement.

• Exposure to Real Estate Accounting is a plus but not required.

• Knowledge of US Accounting and US GAAP preferred.


Skills & Competencies:

• Specialization in AP or AR, expertise in both is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of general accounting functions such as reconciliations, ledger management, and reporting.

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

• Experience with YARDI or MRI is a strong advantage.

• Advanced MS Excel skills.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under tight deadlines, and adapt to growing business needs.


Work Schedule & Set-Up:

• Set-up: Hybrid arrangement; candidates must be available to report onsite 2–3x per week or as needed.

• Schedule: Mid-shift, 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (PH Time), subject to business needs.

• Overtime: May be required during month-end close and other peak periods.
