Job Objective:

An IoT (Internet of Things) Technician is responsible for scoping and designing IoT frameworks and plan as well as installing and programming. Further, the IoT Technician is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IoT devices and systems. They work with a range of devices, from smart home appliances to industrial sensors, ensuring they function correctly and connect to the internet.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Core Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:

• Setting up and configuring IoT devices, including hardware and software, for various applications.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Ensuring devices meet specific requirements and standards before deployment.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to IoT devices and networks.

Maintenance and Support:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware repairs.

Data Management:

• Working with data collected by IoT devices, potentially including analysis and visualization.

Additional Responsibilities:

Customer Communication:

• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and troubleshoot issues.

Documentation:

• Maintaining documentation for devices, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Collaboration:

• Working with other technicians, engineers, and vendors to resolve issues.

Industry Compliance:

• Ensuring devices and systems comply with relevant standards and regulations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experienced in electrical wiring
• Familiarity with RSH485, Zigbee, Wifi, Canbus, Protocols, KNX
• Experienced in working with Engineers, Architects, Interior Designers.
• At least college level
