About the Company

WebDev200 is a technology and outsourcing company providing services to global clients. This role supports our client, PNCai, a BPO specializing in high-volume SMS campaigns. As an SMS Compliance Specialist, you will help design, register, and manage A2P 10DLC, short code, and toll-free messaging programs, ensuring SMS deliverability, carrier relations, and CTIA/TCPA compliance through high-value, compliant messaging strategies.


Key Responsibilities

Program Setup & Management


  • Manage A2P registration and sender setup (10DLC, toll-free, short codes).
  • Maintain relationships with carriers and CPaaS providers such as Twilio, Bandwidth, and Sinch.
  • Ensure proper EIN/brand registration for A2P and maintain required business documentation.


Compliance & Consent Management


  • Capture and maintain consent records, including timestamps, IP addresses, sources, and page URLs.
  • Enforce full CTIA/TCPA compliance and adhere to carrier filtering standards.
  • Maintain audit logs to document consent and campaign activities.


Deliverability & List Management


  • Perform list hygiene by removing invalid numbers, re-engaging cold leads, and suppressing DNC/STOP contacts.
  • Execute warm-up and ramping strategies, starting with small daily sends and gradually increasing volume while monitoring complaint rates.
  • Apply segmentation and personalization to reduce complaints and increase engagement.
  • Optimize message templates to avoid trigger words and include clear opt-out instructions.
  • Manage rate limiting and geo-throttling for pacing per carrier and region.
  • Implement monitoring and alerts for failed deliveries, spikes in opt-outs, and complaints.
  • Use fallback routing strategies (alternate sender or temporary pause) when delivery issues occur.


Optimization & Collaboration


  • Monitor and improve SMS throughput, delivery rates, and complaint ratios.
  • Collaborate with developers and CRM teams to integrate SMS flows and templates into platforms such as GoHighLevel and Infusionsoft.
  • Advise on scaling strategies and recommend short code registration when volume exceeds 10DLC limits.


Qualifications

Must Have:


  • Hands-on experience with Twilio, Bandwidth, Sinch, or equivalent CPaaS platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of A2P 10DLC, CTIA/TCPA requirements, and carrier filtering mechanisms.
  • Proven track record in improving SMS deliverability, throughput management, and complaint rate reduction.
  • Expertise in SMS warm-up, message template approval, throughput management, and geo-throttling.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience with campaign A/B testing, analytics, and automation tools such as GoHighLevel and Infusionsoft.
  • Background in BPO, contact center operations, or CRM-driven marketing campaigns.


Compliance and Legal Notes


  • All practices must strictly comply with TCPA/CTIA regulations and carrier policies.
  • No guidance or practices involving evasion, spoofing, or non-compliant behavior will be tolerated.
  • Contracts must ensure full adherence to consent laws, with complete audit logs maintained.
  • EIN or business registration may be required for A2P brand verification.
  • For clients requiring volume beyond 10DLC limits, short code registration is the compliant alternative.
