The Food Attendant is responsible for assisting in food service operations by preparing food items, arranging food displays, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dining or buffet area. Duties include replenishing food trays, monitoring food quality, supporting kitchen staff, serving guests during buffet service, and following proper food handling and safety procedures.

• Assisting in food preparation and portioning
• Arranging and replenishing buffet stations or food counters
• Ensuring food presentation, temperature, and freshness are maintained
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service hours
• Keeping service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Assisting guests politely and addressing simple inquiries
• Following hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times

Job Requirements

• Graduate or Undergraduate of HRM, Culinary or any related courses
• With work experience or Actual OJT/Training
• Ability to work in a team, communicate well, and follow sanitation procedures, hygiene, safety and to keep the kitchen clean and well- ventilated
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge and basic skills in pastry preparation, baking, and dessert plating
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food presentation standards
• Understanding of proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
• Creativity and attention to detail in pastry decoration and presentation
