Payroll/ Finance Specialist

職位描述
- Collect and verify timesheets, calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and commissions, and process direct deposits or checks.
- Calculate, withhold, and remit payroll taxes, prepare and file tax returns, and respond to tax notices from government agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to personal information.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, or benefits.
- Prepare and distribute various payroll reports for management and auditors, including payroll expenses, tax filings, and compensation summaries.
- Manage the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and assist with financial statement preparation.
- Suggest and implement improvements to payroll processes and procedures.
- Work with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
