About the Role:
We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving production processes, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring product quality meets customer and company standards.
This role involves analyzing production workflows, implementing process improvements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to achieve manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities.
- Support new product introductions by preparing process flow charts, work instructions, and equipment setups.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Conduct time studies, process capability studies, and root cause analysis for defects or quality issues.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and ISO standards.
- Participate in cost reduction, yield improvement, and lean manufacturing projects.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as process specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and control plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
- Familiar with CAD software and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
