• Ensure that Plan Sifters, Purifiers, Bran Finishers, Flour Conveyors and Control Sifters are properly adjusted and working for optimum performance to meet product quality and Food Safety standards, this role involves close collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance (EMD) and fellow production team members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

• Handle the operations of Plan Sifters, Purifier, Bran Finishers, Flour Conveyors and Control Sifters efficiently and promptly address any issues that arise.
• Complete the checklists provided for the Sifter staff.
• Continuously observe Plan Sifters, Purifier, Bran Finishers, Flour Conveyors and Control Sifters condition and operational parameters
• Carry out sampling as instructed by the Senior Shift Miller or as per guidance for laboratory analysis.
• Ensure stable and smooth operations.
• Silo destinations are checked in actual vs SCADA.
• Prepare sieve assembly as necessary and perform Sifter modifications as guided by the Senior Shift Miller.
• Ensure additives refilling and proper dosing is carried out.
• Coordinate with the maintenance group regarding plant shutdown or machine breakdown.
• Report any unusual events or operational situations to Senior Shift Miller and provide recommendations and suggestions for improvement.
• Perform Mill Flowrates such as Flour, Additives, Wheat, and Bran.
• Perform fixed asset monitoring to include ladders, push carts, tools, and other items as required by the Senior Shift Miller.
• Personally oversee the maintenance of good sanitation, personal hygiene, and pest control activities within the mill.
• Ensure the implementation of 5S, GMP, food safety, and safety practices in the workplace.
• Execute other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Senior Shift Miller and Head Miller.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Preferably a bachelor’s degree or technical course graduate. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Can handle various electrical and mechanical tools, exhibits color discrimination when examining stocks and materials, demonstrates hand-eye coordination for machine adjustments.
• Finger dexterity to feel products, verify texture and consistency.
• Can work in a heated and dusty environment with the capacity to work near machines that generate noise.
• Possessed skills in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosis, able to handle medium to heavy lifting tasks, and comfortable working at heights.
• Capable of providing feedback, ideas, and suggestions when requested, and proficient in communicating effectively throughout all organizational levels.
• With demonstrated ability to implement best practices and tools to improve processes.
• With demonstrated ability to comply with MIMI’s occupational safety rules especially wearing of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in production area, and influence others to do so.
• With ability to work in rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, where necessary.
