The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of MES platforms within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures seamless integration between production processes and IT systems, supporting the collection, analysis, and reporting of real-time data to improve operational efficiency. The MES Supervisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with manufacturing KPIs and lean principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage MES operations, ensuring system reliability and performance
• Configure, maintain, and optimize MES platforms to support production requirements
• Integrate MES with SCADA systems, IoT devices, and industrial communication protocols (OPC, MQTT)
• Collaborate with production, quality, and IT teams to align MES functionalities with business objectives
• Develop and maintain scripts, databases, and reports for real-time data monitoring and analysis
• Troubleshoot MES-related issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, quality systems, and lean principles
• Train and guide team members on MES functionalities and best practices
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements for system efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in MES, SCADA, or other manufacturing IT systems.
• Enough knowledge of MES platforms
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC, MQTT) and IoT integration.
• Experience with databases and scripting languages.
• Understanding of manufacturing KPIs, lean principles, and quality systems.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to dynamic environments.
