The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services required by the company while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. The role involves requesting and reviewing quotations, issuing purchase orders, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, and maintaining positive supplier relationships. The Purchasing Staff also monitors inventory levels in coordination with warehouse and production teams to ensure that procurement aligns with budget and operational needs. Additionally, the position requires maintaining accurate purchasing records, verifying invoices and delivery documents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement procedures. Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and proficiency in MS Office or ERP systems are essential for this role.
