Job Opening: Purchasing Staff

Salary Range: ₱20,000 – ₱25,000

Department: Purchasing – Commissary or Logistics & Distribution Team

RVD Food Inc. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Staff to join our growing team. This role is vital in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, ingredients, and supplies necessary for commissary operations or logistics/distribution activities. The successful candidate will support vendor development, negotiate pricing, and help streamline our purchasing process to meet company goals.

• Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers/vendors.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency and on-time procurement.
• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Coordinate closely with the commissary or logistics & distribution teams to understand material and supply requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Stay updated on market trends and industry pricing for materials relevant to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor coordination (experience in commissary or logistics/distribution setting is an advantage).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiar with procurement systems and vendor evaluation practices.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
