- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors.
- Manage inventory levels and procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Evaluate supplier performance and quality assurance.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication, negotiating, inventory, and vendor management skills; proficiency in marketing research; strong problem-solving abilities.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee purchasing processes, manage vendor relationships, analyze market trends, and maintain inventory levels.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional travel for vendor meetings or trade shows.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to work under pressure.
