The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the manpower needs of the company’s retail operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring that stores are staffed with competent and customer-oriented personnel who align with company standards. The Recruitment Specialist also supports employer branding, employee onboarding, and contributes to the overall talent acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for retail positions, from job posting to onboarding.
Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, career fairs, referrals, and other channels.
Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and endorse qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Coordinate with store and area managers regarding manpower requirements.
Ensure timely placement of staff to support smooth store operations.
Assist in developing recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract top talent.
Maintain and update recruitment records, databases, and reports.
Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
Uphold company standards and ensure compliance with labor laws and recruitment policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in recruitment; retail industry experience is an advantage.
Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple job requisitions at once.
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with job portals and recruitment tools.
