Recruitment Coordinator / Project Manager (Japan Market)

Position overview:

• This position will work closely with an experienced team of recruitment consultants based in Tokyo, Japan and provide recruitment services to well-known multinational companies.
• This position requires tenacity and flexibility in attitude towards work, ability to work smart and communicate with professionals at different levels, and a willingness to work hard.
• This position will enable and require one to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Targets in the form of new candidate and lead generation via headhunting activities that include intensive cold-calling, mass emailing tools, and web research.

Key responsibilities:

Recruitment & Headhunting

• Conduct active headhunting (not limited to job board sourcing).
• Generate new candidate leads through cold-calling, networking, and research.
• Build and maintain industry-specific talent pipelines.
• Identify and approach passive candidates.

Candidate Management

• Evaluate candidate suitability via structured screening and CV review.
• Match candidate qualifications against client requirements.
• Prepare and format candidate resume.
• Coordinate meeting between candidates and Japan-based consultants.

Project & Process Management

• Maintain CRM/database accuracy.
• Track recruitment progress and ensure accountability.
• Manage scheduling, follow-ups, and workflow coordination.
• Ensure high attention to detail in documentation and matching.

Performance & Growth

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI targets.
• Demonstrate readiness for expanded responsibilities.
• Continuously upgrade recruitment skills, and market knowledge.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience:

• At least 1 year of work experience in similar field, which include:
• Executive search / recruitment
• Recruitment Process Outsourcing
• BPO (outbound calling, preferably sales or customer service with upselling)
• Insurance or Real Estate sales
• Other work experience involving heavy outbound calling volume are welcome

Qualifications:

• Advanced level written and spoken English skills
• University degree
• Strong computer literacy
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Currently living/working based within Metro Manila area
