This position is responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to employees and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. The Company Nurse & Safety Officer will act as the primary point of contact for employee health concerns, implement safety programs, and conduct regular inspections to prevent workplace accidents and illnesses. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Employee Healthcare:  

• Provide first aid and emergency medical assistance to injured employees. 
• Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed. 
• Monitor employee health records and maintain accurate medical files. 
• Coordinate with external healthcare providers for specialized medical care.

Occupational Health & Safety:  

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures. 
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace to identify and eliminate hazards. 
• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. 
• Train employees on safety procedures, including fire safety, emergency response, and hazard communication. 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations (e.g., DOLE, DOH). 
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training. 
• Conduct safety audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. 
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among all employees. 

Administrative:  

• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records. 
• Prepare reports on employee health and safety incidents. 
• Order and maintain adequate supplies of medical equipment and first aid supplies. 
• Participate in safety committees and meetings. 
• Stay updated on relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications: 

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license. 
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field. 
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred). 
• At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse, with experience in occupational health preferred. 
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations related to occupational health and safety. 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
