- Responsible for overseeing the entire Flour sales operations, including commercial strategy, financial management, customer relationship management, operational oversight, and managing the distribution network.
- Involves leading strategic pricing management, trade marketing, and promotions.
- Ensures that all business activities are aligned with the company’s strategic goals, with a focus on driving profitability, market growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for ensuring awareness, complying with, and enforcing the GMC Food Safety and Quality Policy.
- Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health policy; report any unsafe act/conditions in the workplace and ensure safety practices are adhered.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Set annual and quarterly sales targets and ensure achievement.
2. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate regional sales managers and their teams.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to drive results.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
3. Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with major clients.
- Explore new markets and expand customer base nationwide.
4. Sales Operations & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor sales performance by region and product line; prepare accurate reports and forecasts.
- Oversee and ensure effective execution of customer relationship management practices, including pipeline management and customer follow-up.
- Recommend improvements in sales processes and policies for efficiency.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Marketing for promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure effective coordination with Supply Chain and Operations to maintain product availability and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Sales and Planning for accurate forecasting and demand planning.
- Coordinate with Research and Development for product improvement and innovations to meet market needs.
- Collaborate with Finance for pricing strategies and credit management.
