Customer Service:

  • Greet customers, assist with product inquiries, and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Stay attentive and readily available to assist with additional questions or needs as customers browse.
  • Ensure customers are aware of return policies, warranties, or after-sales services to enhance their experience.


Sales:

  • Actively promote and sell products to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Engage with customers to explain product features, upsell when appropriate.


Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on product information, including new arrivals, bestsellers, and special promotions, to answer customer inquiries accurately.


Manage Inventory:

  • Assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and ensure products are correctly displayed.
  • Ensuring products are displayed according to store standards.
  • Restocking shelves.


Process Transactions:

  • Use the store’s POS system accurately to ring up purchases, apply discounts, and process payments.
  • Efficiently process cash, credit, debit, mobile payments, and gift cards while ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Double-check the total amount, confirm payment details, and provide correct change when handling cash transactions.
  • Provide customers with printed or digital receipts, explaining warranty information or return policies when necessary.


Maintain Store Appearance:

  • Regularly arrange and update product displays to ensure they are visually appealing and align with store themes or 
  • promotions.
  • Monitor product levels and replenish items as needed to avoid empty shelves, ensuring products are readily available to customers.


Collaborate with Team Members:

  • Maintain open lines of communication with team members to share updates, feedback, and important information that affects 
  • store operations.
  • Work together to distribute tasks efficiently, ensuring all areas of the store are adequately staffed and organized, especially 
  • during peak hours.
  • Be open to receiving feedback from team members and management, using it as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.


Handle Customer Feedback:

  • Pay close attention to customer complaints or concerns, demonstrating empathy and understanding to make the customer 
  • feel heard and valued.
  • Offer practical solutions or alternatives to address the customer’s issue on the spot when possible, showing a proactive 
  • approach to problem-solving.
  • Record details of customer feedback, including the nature of the complaint and actions taken, to help track recurring issues 
  • and inform management.
