簡介

A sales clerk plays a key role in customer service and retail operations. Their primary responsibilities include:

  1. Customer Assistance: Helping customers find products, answering questions about merchandise, and offering advice on purchasing decisions.
  2. Processing Sales: Handling transactions through cash registers or point-of-sale systems, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
  3. Stock Management: Restocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping track of inventory levels.
  4. Merchandising: Ensuring products are properly displayed, often helping with store layout or promotions.
  5. Customer Service: Addressing customer concerns, handling returns or exchanges, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  6. Cleaning and Maintaining the Store: Keeping the store tidy, organized, and presentable.
  7. Upselling and Promotions: Encouraging customers to purchase additional items or promoting special offers.
