This position requires a blend of technical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that SAP solutions meet business needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Incident Resolution and User Engagement:
Support incident resolution and fulfill new demands related to SAP Quality Management (QM) and its integration with other SAP modules.
Engage with end-users to understand their needs and provide necessary support.
Collaboration with IT and Business Teams:
Work closely with peers in the Information Technology Services (ITS) organization and business representatives to design business processes leveraging SAP capabilities.
Participate in modeling, business process mapping, and creation of use cases.
Project Management:
Lead project initiatives post-implementation to enhance the usage of SAP solutions across manufacturing sites, commercial operations, and supply networks.
Develop complex IT program plans that consider interdependencies within multiple work streams.
Documentation:
Contribute to creating essential documentation such as SAP Blueprints, Design documents, Test Cases, Process Documents, and Training materials.
Ensure timely delivery of documentation throughout project phases.
System Configuration and Development:
Collect business requirements and configure systems accordingly.
Prepare functional specifications for development, configuration, testing, user training, and data migration.
User Support & Training:
Provide go-live support for users after system deployment.
Train users on new functionalities within the SAP environment.
Technical Support:
Offer third-level technical support on SAP application issues ensuring smooth operation on a day-to-day basis.
Manage SAP system health by performing regular maintenance checks.
Data Management:
Handle CRM data migration tasks including IDOC processing and integration with other modules like ECC.
Produce reports from ServiceNow or SAP to analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
Proficiency in software applications used for requirement gathering is essential.
Skills Required:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent collaboration skills across different IT functions.
Familiarity with project management practices is beneficial.
Experience in programming languages relevant to SAP (e.g., ABAP) is advantageous but not always necessary.
