Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years of experience in vessel operations, marine logistics, or maritime coordination
- Maritime background or experience in ship management, port agency, or marine BPO is an advantage
- Comfortable using online tracking tools or CRM systems (experience with Salesforce is a plus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong understanding of vessel itineraries, port call schedules, and communication with ship crew/captains
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily vessel operations, ensuring seamless communication between vessels, captains, ports, and internal teams.
- Monitor vessel movements, itineraries, and port call schedules using online tracking tools or CRM systems.
- Liaise with ship crews, port agents, and service providers to ensure timely arrivals, departures, and service requests.
- Prepare, update, and maintain operational reports, voyage updates, and documentation related to port calls and logistics.
- Track, escalate, and resolve any operational issues, delays, or unexpected changes in vessel schedules.
- Ensure all requirements for port calls are arranged and communicated accurately, including berthing, supplies, crew coordination, and clearances.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Support the operations team with administrative tasks, data entry, and follow-ups as needed.
- Work independently in a remote environment, handling multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide clear, timely communication to stakeholders in English, both written and verbal.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure smooth marine logistics operations.
