Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain & Demand Planning Specialist in e-commerce to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of products from production to delivery by managing inventory forecasting, coordinating logistics, and maintaining optimal stock levels across multiple channels. You will work closely with internal teams—including production, sales, and finance—as well as external partners like suppliers and freight forwarders to align supply chain activities with business goals. Your expertise in data analysis, Excel, and inventory systems will drive strategic planning and decision-making, helping the company maintain cost-efficiency while meeting customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management & Forecasting
  • Conduct inventory forecasting based on historical data, sales trends, and business targets.
  • Propose order quantities grounded in sales forecasts, target metrics, and current inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory across various channels including Amazon FBA and 3PL warehouses.
  • Track Amazon storage capacity, low inventory, and aging stock to minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to determine which products will be manufactured next and define optimal production quantities.


Logistics & Freight Coordination

  • Arrange shipping with freight forwarders and obtain multiple freight quotes to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Prepare all required shipping and customs documentation.
  • Oversee shipment schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient stock replenishment.


Supplier & 3PL Management

  • Coordinate with Chinese suppliers for FBA labels, shipping arrangements, and production updates.
  • Oversee 3PL operations to ensure accurate inventory records and timely stock movements.
  • Track purchase orders, follow up on production timelines, and address any disruptions in the supply chain.


Data & Reporting

  • Pull data from Amazon Seller Central to create internal reports on sales, inventory levels, and costs.
  • The track landed cost of goods sold (COGs) and maintain precise financial and inventory records.
  • Use and maintain forecasting tools like Google Sheets, SoStocked, or other platforms to create POs and project inventory needs.


Communication & Team Coordination

  • Share weekly supply chain updates and lead weekly meetings to align with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, finance, and operations to improve forecasting accuracy and resolve supply chain challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize inventory and logistics processes


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inventory planning, supply chain operations, and logistics coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, forecasting tools (e.g., SoStocked, Google Sheets), and basic supply chain software.
  • Clear and professional communication skills; ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
