Schedule

Depending on role(s):

• ELLT Examiners -8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Student-driven bookings
• No fixed timetable; availability set within Asia working hours
• System auto-fills exam slots based on your posted availability
• OPSE Academic Instructors 4:30pm-8:00 pm
• Fixed-length courses (6, 12, or 16 weeks)
• Around 10 hours/week live teaching (UK mornings ≈ Asia late afternoon/evening, e.g., (4:30 PM–8:00 PM)
• Plus 10–15 hours/week of asynchronous grading, feedback, and admin, completed at flexible times

You can indicate whether you’d like to be considered for Examining, Teaching, or both.

Who We’re Looking For

We support learners preparing for university-level study and academic demands, so we’re looking for specialists who:

• Are comfortable with Academic English (essays, presentations, academic reading/listening)
• Understand and apply CEFR levels in teaching or assessing
• Can deliver high-quality feedback in either exam or course settings

Minimum Requirements (Must Have)

We require:

• C2 level of English
• Master’s Degree (preferably English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or related field)
• TESOL / TEFL / CELTA or similar certification
• Proven English for Academic Purposes (EAP) experience
• Working knowledge of CEFR levels (A1–C2)
• At least 3 years teaching on platforms or in higher-education environments

Preferred Backgrounds

We especially welcome:

• University / college English or EAP lecturers
• IELTS/TOEFL/academic exam prep teachers
• Former examiners, assessors, or raters
• Senior ESL instructors shifting into formal Academic English and assessment

Required Teaching Setup

For both examining and teaching roles:

• CPU: Intel i5 (8th Gen+) / Ryzen 5 1600+ / Apple M1+
• RAM: 8GB minimum
• Internet: Wired 25 Mbps+ with backup connection
• Webcam: External 1080p
• Headset: Noise-cancelling, USB
• Environment: Quiet, professional, well-lit space
