- Review project plans and proposals and collaborate with management to determine project objectives.
- Identify project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project.
- Calculate time frames and sequence the stages of the project.
- Coordinate with different teams and professionals, such as contractors and engineers to ensure all parties are aligned with the project objectives.
- Ensure the project is compliant with the applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
- Monitor project progress to ensure it is staying on time and within budget. Adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and upper management through reports and presentations.
- Oversee the troubleshooting and problem-solving processes for project design and product issues.
- You will also be responsible for documenting test procedures, analyzing test data, and preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in the final testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
- Proven work experience as a Project/Testing & Commissioning/ Sales Engineer
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing methodologies and equipment
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, performance standards and industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NETA etc.)
- Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage systems
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure each project is on schedule.
- Effective leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team of professionals towards project completion.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, demonstrating time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations to ensure all projects are completed in a safe and compliant manner.
- Willing to train and be trained.
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering (licensed REE)
