Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the project manager to identify prospective services which are aligned with the GBS business case and transition into GBS.
  • Create a value proposition in collaboration with BU that highlights the advantages of the organization’s service, proposing solutions that meet or exceed BU needs and expectations and align with the Group’s strategy
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of assigned transitions
  • Manages the whole process of transferring services and staff from one location to another, ensuring service levels are maintained throughout. The role also includes maintenance of the budget, project plans and reporting to the customer and internal management. Ensures the delivery of high quality, professional and proactive customer-focused service on daily basis.
  • Through the due diligence/gap analysis process to collect and prepare all relevant details for the transition including FTE requirements, SOP, Process Maps, KPI/Metrics.
  • Drive Impact Assessment phase at country/ region/ market level to develop and drive action plans to identify and close gaps between global process and as-is local country / BU processes.
  • Contribute significantly to continuously improve the transition methodology and toolkit, ensuring lessons learned and driving consistent, risk managed, optimized transitions
  • Ensure transparent/timely reporting on the progress, success and risks/issues of the program to leadership


Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of end-to-end Transition Management experience and Continuous Improvement projects, Outsourcing/Offshoring, previous experience in the setup of shared service centers
  • Working knowledge of business process transition and transformation projects
  • Experience setting up Finance and/or Human Resources shared services organization for a conglomerate is a strong plus
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent influencing skills; able to align competing interests towards a common goal
  • Must be a Team player who is able to work virtual and have a collaborative approach
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred
  • Ability to travel >20% of the time in APAC
  • PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills
