Operate trailers or articulated trucks to transport goods locally or over long distances.
Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring secure and damage-free transport.
Inspect vehicles before and after trips and submit inspection reports.
Ensure cargo is properly secured and complies with weight regulations.
Maintain daily driver logs and vehicle inspection reports.
Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times.
Communicate with dispatchers for route updates, delays, and deliveries.
Report any mechanical issues or delays promptly.
Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good condition.
Assist with basic maintenance checks like oil, tire pressure, and fluid levels.
Follow all safety protocols, especially in handling hazardous materials.
Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials to and from job sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper balance and weight distribution.
Monitor the condition of the load and secure it to avoid spillage during transit.
Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or mechanical failures promptly.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the assigned vehicle.
Keep accurate daily logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and work hours.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and coworkers regarding delivery schedules and instructions.
Follow proper dumping procedures to avoid damage to the truck or surrounding property
