EU Transport Planner – Remote (Backoffice Operations –

Netherlands Market)

Company Overview

We are a Netherlands-based transport back office and advisory company. Transport companies outsource their entire operational back office to us — including transport planning, financial control, compliance monitoring, and strategic advisory.

As a Transport Planner, you will operate within our internal operations team. You do not work directly for the transport company. You work for us.

Role Overview

You are responsible for planning and dispatching daily transport operations for Dutch road transport clients.

You operate within a structured back office model where Planning, Compliance, Finance, and Performance monitoring are Integrated.

Your work directly impacts:

• Operational Stability

Core Responsibilities

Transport Planning

• Plan daily truck operations within the Netherlands and EU
• Maximize billable kilometers
• Minimize empty runs
• Optimize routes based on time windows and traffic patterns

Live Dispatch Control

• Monitor active trips
• Adjust planning in real-time
• Solve operational disruptions

Compliance Monitoring

• Monitor EU driving and rest time regulations
• Prevent violations proactively
• Track tachograph hours

Operational Performance

• Track utilization per truck
• Identify inefficiencies
• Work closely with internal finance team to monitor performance per vehicle

Job Requirements

Required Experience

• 3+years experience in trucking dispatch or fleet planning
• Experience with US, UK, AU, or EU trucking preferred
• Experience in high-volume dispatch environments
• Used to night shift operations (EU time zone)

Technical Skills

• Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• GPS tracking systems
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to analyze operational data
• Structured reporting mindset
