About the role



As an Automation Tester at Indra Philippines, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's software applications. This contract position, based in Ortigas Pasig City Metro Manila, will involve using your expertise in test automation to streamline the testing process and deliver high-quality software solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts to support end-to-end testing of software applications

• Collaborate with development teams to identify and automate repetitive testing tasks, improving efficiency and accuracy

• Continuously research and implement the latest tools and technologies to enhance the automation testing capabilities

• Analyse test results, identify defects, and communicate findings to the development team

• Participate in the full software development life cycle, providing testing expertise and insights to drive continuous improvement

• Mentor and train junior members of the testing team, sharing your knowledge and best practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing

• Proficient in writing automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium

• Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks

• Good understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and identify innovative solutions

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
