The QS – MEFPS Engineer is responsible for cost management, quantity surveying, and financial control of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Sanitary (MEFPS) systems in construction projects. The role ensures accurate estimation, budgeting, and cost control while collaborating with project teams, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed bill of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents for MEFPS works.
2. Conduct quantity take-offs and material assessments for mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and sanitary systems.
3. Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
4. Evaluate contractor payment applications and variation orders.
5. Prepare progress reports, cost analysis, and financial forecasts.
6. Assist in contract negotiations and resolve any cost-related disputes.
7. Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to optimize project costs.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and project specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEFPS or MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
