A BIM Modeler is responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models of the physical spaces that will be built. These models are used as a reference point throughout the construction process, allowing everyone involved to see exactly what needs to be done at any given time. Building information models (BIM) are virtual files used to aid decision-making during the building process. BIM modelers work closely with architects and engineers to develop designs for clients.

In addition to modeling, the BIM Modeler will utilize 3D rendering and walkthrough techniques to create realistic visualizations of the designs. These rendered images and interactive walkthroughs are essential for communicating design intent to clients and stakeholders and help in making design decisions during project development.

What you'll do:

• Perform BIM Modelling for architectural project under the supervision / direction of BIM Lead / Architect.

• Create high-quality 3D renderings and walkthroughs to visualize architectural designs, aiding client presentations, design reviews, and decision making.

• Ensure drawings are produced according to the Company’s BIM standard and adhere to office BIM procedure.

• Assist in preparing visual presentations and technical documentation for clients, including rendered images, animations, and interactive walkthroughs.

• Ensure models / drawings accuracy based on BIM standards and BIM Project workflow criteria / checklist.

• Ensure all productions are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.

• Report regularly to BIM Lead / Architect on the progress of work.

• Ensure all exported information are recorded in the correct directory.

• Experience in large projects and work with multi-disciplinary team.

• Experience in Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design and Tender documentation.

• Perform QAQC on modelled elements to ensure quality.

• Responsible to participate and support the Company’s SHEQ within their scope of duties.

What we'll love about you:

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture or other relevant discipline.

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience

• Proficient in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

• Expertise in 3D rendering and walkthrough creation using software such as Enscape, V-Ray, or Lumion or D5

• Able to do detailing and tender documentation drawings.

• Able to create high quality visual presentations, including still renderings and animated walkthroughs.

• Involvement in building project with team of modelers, architects and engineers.

• Basic knowledge on reading and interpretation of architectural drawings.

• Experience in BIM 360 and ProjectWise is of an advantage.
