Job Purpose

The Factory SHE Specialist will be the key catalyst in ensuring compliance to local and company standards and requirements, SHE programs and strategies are consistently done, coordinated, monitored, and assessed. Champions risk assessment and mitigation with stakeholders and embed safety culture in every aspect of the operations. What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

• Act as Safety Officer and understudy for Pollution Control Officer always ensuring compliance with local and company, SHE standards, regulations and requirements.
• Performs regular inspections on-site coordinating findings with process owner and ensuring timely follow-up and closure.
• Facilitates Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment with Area owners and other stakeholders, ensuring that proper risk management are implemented and reviewed with proper mitigation in place,
• Conducts SHE Awareness and training with stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the safety officers of Contractors, third party partners for adequate and consistent implementation of Contractor Safety Management.
• Lead standard review, update and cascade ensuring consistent implementation,
• Recommends and implements sound and appropriate controls to mitigate high risks identified, calls out unsafe practices and stop unsafe work.
• Able to work and implement safety management programs with less to no supervision.
  
  

Experiences And Qualifications

• Must have experience working in Occupational Safety, Health & Environment in a manufacturing setting
• Preferably have licensure and/or certification as a Safety Officer as prescribed by DOLE (SO 2-4)
• Preferably has experience and/or certification and familiar with the requirements of the Fire Code of the Philippines, DOLE BWC Occupational Safety & Health Standards and DENR-EMB Environmental Permitting Requirements
• Preferably with Pollution Control Officer training and experience
  
  

Location: Philippines-based, must be able to report daily onsite at Pasig Ice Cream Factory. With minimal business travel to in the Philippines or to any country within Asia as needed.
