Increase Suppliers of Raw Materials to 3–5 per product to maintain pricing leverage and supply security. (Continuously updating tracker for accurate record keeping).
Create price comparison sheet per product to compare offers from suppliers.
Keep record of purchases from all suppliers (Record, keep & create request for payment):
Order
Delivery/Delay time
Payment (Coordinate with Accounting Payables)
Negotiate terms with all applicable suppliers (Always or whenever applicable).
Ensure the quality of all purchases through physical inspection, guided by a standardized criteria sheet, which must include checks for the following:
Weight conformity
Visible deformations or defects
Expiration date (flag items nearing expiry)
Presence of foul or off-odors
Overall freshness and appearance
Proper segregation of meat types (no mixed meats)
Absence of spoiled or damaged vegetables
Temperature compliance for frozen goods (Critical Control Point: -18°C or below)
Update the “Commissary Procurement Supplier Master Sheet.”
Assist in inventory auditing & monitoring.
