The Business Analyst – Digital Operations is responsible for supporting the Underwriting Operations group by performing business processes evaluation and implementing automation,visualization, and data solutions. In addition, the business analyst will be a critical individual togather and preempt requirements from stakeholders and be responsible for designing theappropriate mechanisms and will work closely to the technicians. This role requires an ability tounderstand and articulate both the business benefits and technical advantages of various
automation/data visualization products and solutions.
Job Description
- As a business analyst with digital and data expertise, you will be providing qualityassurance, training, best practices, and solutions that enable process efficiency,automation, and data driven decisions.
- Hand-on in the design, configuration, and training of various low-code/no-code solutions
- Design and implement complex Power BI data visualizations
- Design & implement solutions based on business rules and requirements
- Support implemented solutions by conducting root cause analysis on issues and correctiveactions.
- Clearly document solution, complete testing, and maintain documentation for existing andfutureproducts.
- Provides guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches toachieve project and program objectives.
- Analyzes, maps and communicates current state and future state business processes.
- Supports business units in the resolution of in-depth user questions and issues.
- Maintains a working knowledge of new technology and business analysis standards & practices.
- Other areas of support within Central Operations
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experitise in PowerBI and large/variable data sets
- Experience in SQL
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Technologies including Power Automate, and Alteryx
- Insurance experience preferred
Additional Information
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent in experience)
- With 4+ years ofrelated experience.
